Although we are starting to come through the other side post covid 19. Kids are still stressed, parents are stressed, some routines might be back in place with school, jobs, and work but a lot of afterschool activities are still not on.
My 2 young girls have been practising deep breathing. They are loving this Leaf breathing to help cope.
When it comes to teaching kids, kids love a visual cue and it’s a great strategy to for practising deep breathing and engaging kids into mindfulness, especially as they can trace their finger around the shape of the leaf to help them be focussed and grounded. This is great for kids any age as well as adults.
